Shadowrocket Download Verify the App Store listing
A paid app with a one-time purchase, available exclusively on the App Store. First check your account’s store region, then verify the app and complete your purchase.
- Developer Shadow Launch Technology Limited
- App ID 932747118
- $2.99 reference price for a one-time purchase in the US App Store
- For iPhone and iPad
Refer to the App Store page for the current price, system requirements, and purchase eligibility.
Check your store region first
Shadowrocket isn’t available in the mainland China App Store. The country or region associated with the Apple ID used for Media & Purchases determines which apps appear—not your device’s interface language. Check the store account before troubleshooting missing search results. Changing your device language or opening a link with a different storefront code does not automatically change your account’s store region.
On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your Apple Account at the top, then go to Media & Purchases > View Account > Country/Region. Labels may vary slightly between iOS versions, so follow the wording on your screen. If the account used for Media & Purchases differs from the one shown at the top of Settings, check the account that was actually used to make the purchase.
- Check Country/Region to confirm which store is linked to your account.
- To view the option to change regions, go to Change Country or Region on the same screen and review the requirements shown by the system.
- Follow Apple’s instructions for any remaining balance, active subscriptions, payment methods, and other requirements before deciding whether to continue.
- Return to the App Store product page and check whether a purchase button and applicable price are shown.
Whether you can change your store region depends on your account status and Apple’s current requirements. Being able to open a product page does not mean your account can necessarily make a purchase. This page links to the US App Store listing. If the store prompts you to switch storefronts, read the notice and check your account region and payment requirements before proceeding—don’t repeatedly tap the purchase button.
Verify the app
Check all three details
The app name is only the first check. The developer, official icon, and app ID should all match.
- DeveloperShadow Launch Technology Limited
-
Official iconRocket with a blue-and-purple outline on a white background
- App ID932747118
Check the developer, not just the app name
On the product page, find the developer or seller information and confirm that it says Shadow Launch Technology Limited. Search results may include apps with the same name, similar spellings, or similar icons. Don’t verify an app based only on the name “Shadowrocket.” If the developer details don’t match, return to the product page link at the top of this page and check again.
Compare the official icon
The official icon is a rocket with a blue-and-purple outline on a white background, matching the icon shown here and in this site’s header. Use the icon as one clue, not as the sole basis for a purchase. Check it alongside the developer and app ID. Search ad placement or text beside an app name does not verify the app’s identity.
Check the app ID on the product page
The app ID is 932747118, and the product page URL ends with id932747118. Check the number in your browser’s address bar or in a product link shared from the App Store. Make sure every digit matches, then return to the store to check the price and compatibility. A similarly named app with a different app ID is not the Shadowrocket listed on this page.
The two images on the right are official App Store screenshots showing Home and Add Server. Use them to locate features after installation. The interface may change with app updates, so refer to the app as it appears on your device. Screenshots do not verify a purchase, and installing the app does not provide a server.
Buying and opening Shadowrocket on iPhone
Complete the purchase, then check your first connection
Check device compatibility first; configure your connection after installation.
On your iPhone, open the App Store product page linked here. Verify the three identifying details, then check compatibility and price. Refer to the App Store page for system requirements. Seeing the app’s product page does not guarantee your device meets the installation requirements. If the page or button shows a compatibility warning, read it rather than relying on your experience with another device.
- Make sure the App Store is signed in with the Apple ID you plan to use for the purchase.
- Check the amount and currency, then confirm the purchase and authenticate as prompted.
- Wait for the App Store download to finish, then open Shadowrocket on your device.
- Go to Home, import your own subscription or server details, and then configure the connection.
Seeing an empty server list the first time you open the app does not mean installation failed. The client uses server details provided by the user to configure a connection. You’ll need to provide your own connection information. In Add Server, enter Type, Host, Port, and other fields as specified by your service provider. Don’t guess the protocol or values from a screenshot.
The first time you turn on the connection switch, iOS may ask whether to allow Shadowrocket to add a VPN configuration. This lets the system manage the connection settings. Confirm that the request comes from Shadowrocket, then follow the system prompts to authenticate. Approval does not mean the server is reachable; check server availability and account details separately.
After installation and import, select your default server in Home, check the current Global Routing setting, and then turn on the connection switch. Use Config to apply the rules in your configuration. Proxy and Direct are different routing modes; changing modes won’t fix a purchase or installation issue.
Finally, use Connectivity Test to check the result. If the connection fails, first check your default server, imported settings, and network. See the Getting Started guide for the full setup. Your purchase history and App Store status show whether you obtained the app; they don’t replace a connection test.
iPad and other Apple devices
Use the same purchasing account to install on iPad
Available for iPhone and iPad. Check the App Store listing for device compatibility and purchase eligibility.
If you’ve already purchased Shadowrocket with an Apple ID, you can download it again from your App Store purchase history on a compatible iPad. First check that the iPad’s Media & Purchases account matches the account used for the original purchase. If you see a price instead of a download option, don’t confirm payment again right away; check your purchase history and account region first.
The iPad has a different screen size from the iPhone, so lists, navigation, and settings may be arranged differently. Look for features by name—such as Home, Config, and Settings—rather than relying on fixed screen coordinates from a screenshot. The app’s appearance depends on your device; refer to the App Store page for system requirements.
Purchase history and connection settings are separate. Restoring your purchase on an iPad does not mean your iPhone’s server details have also appeared on the iPad. After opening the app, check the server list and current configuration. If they’re empty, import your own saved subscription or server details, then check the default server and routing mode.
Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision
The compatibility section on the same App Store product page lists Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. To use the app on one of these devices, check its App Store listing on that device, including compatibility and purchase status. Refer to the App Store page for system requirements, compatibility with other devices, purchase eligibility, and whether the purchase is universal.
Don’t assume that a device listed on the same product page can restore a purchase using the same steps in every situation. Check the App Store prompt on the device before purchasing or installing. The first-connection instructions in this manual are primarily for iPhone and iPad; on other devices, follow the interface shown in the app.
Switching devices, reinstalling, and purchase history
Restore the purchase first, then restore your configuration
The app is tied to your purchase history; servers and rules are part of your connection configuration. Check each separately.
When switching to a new iPhone or iPad, or reinstalling the app, open the App Store, go to your account, and look for Shadowrocket in your purchased items. Depending on your system version, this section may be labeled “Apps” or something similar. If you use the Apple ID that made the original purchase and the app is still available for that account and device, you can usually download it again without paying.
- Check the Apple ID used for Media & Purchases, not just the account name at the top of Settings.
- Look for Shadowrocket under your App Store account, purchased items, or purchase history.
- Verify the developer and app ID, then tap the redownload button.
- After installation, check the server list, Config contents, and connection authorization status.
If the product page still shows a price, stop and check your account and purchase history first. Common things to verify include whether you’re using the original purchase account, whether the purchase was completed, whether the store region has changed, and whether the device meets current compatibility requirements. Don’t repeatedly confirm payment just to test whether you can restore the app. A price button alone doesn’t prove that your previous purchase is no longer valid.
After reinstalling, you may need to import your own subscription or server details again. If you still have access to the old device, first save the configuration and details you need, and make sure you can access your subscription again before setting up the new device. Subscription URLs may contain personal credentials. Treat them as sensitive information and don’t include them in public screenshots or documents shared with others.
When connecting on a new device, you may be asked again to add a VPN configuration. After authorization, check the default server, Global Routing setting, and Connectivity Test. Successfully restoring the app from your App Store purchases and correctly restoring your connection configuration are separate results. If something goes wrong, first identify which step failed.
Price and what’s included
What a one-time purchase includes
Your purchase covers the client app. Connection service is not included.
Shadowrocket is a paid commercial app sold as a one-time purchase, with no monthly client usage fee. The US App Store reference price is $2.99; other storefronts show local currency. The final price appears on the App Store purchase confirmation screen. Prices, currencies, and billing displays vary by storefront, so the reference price on this page may not match the amount charged to every account.
Buying the app does not include a connection plan. Your purchase grants access to the client’s features; it does not provide server addresses, subscription links, or a working connection. Importing and connecting require your own subscription or server details. This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. No node or subscription services are provided, sold, or recommended here.
If the server list in Home is empty after installation, check the source of your own configuration rather than buying the app again. If an existing subscription won’t update, check its URL, status, and your network. If a server won’t connect, check its settings and availability. These issues are separate from whether your App Store purchase was completed.
App updates are managed through the App Store. Use your device’s store settings to enable automatic updates, or check for available updates on your App Store account page. Before updating, save any configuration details you need. After an update, check the settings in the current app interface. Refer to the store listing for price, compatibility, and update history; this page does not replace the purchase confirmation screen.
Use your App Store purchase history and the app’s status on your device to check whether a purchase was completed. A download stuck waiting, an unfinished payment verification, and a failed server connection are different issues. First identify whether the problem is with your account, the store, your device, or your connection settings, then check the relevant section. This helps avoid mistaking a connection issue for a reason to buy the app again.
Purchase and installation FAQ
Follow the current prompt to check further
First identify whether the issue is with the store, purchase restoration, or configuration after installation.
Why can’t I find Shadowrocket in the App Store?
Shadowrocket isn’t available in the mainland China App Store. The country or region associated with your Apple ID determines which store you can access. First check the country or region for the account used for Media & Purchases, then use the product page linked here to check availability. A product page URL containing “us” does not change your account’s store region.
What should I check if I can open the product page but still can’t download the app?
Read the App Store message first, then check your account country or region, device compatibility, available storage, and purchase or payment status. If the download is stuck waiting, check your network and the App Store’s task status. Don’t confirm payment again unnecessarily.
Do I have to pay again when I switch to a new iPhone?
Sign in with the Apple ID used for the original purchase, find Shadowrocket under your App Store account’s purchased items, and download it again. You usually won’t need to pay again. If a price appears, check the account and purchase history first. After restoring the app, you’ll still need to import your own subscription or server details.
Can I install Shadowrocket on an iPad after buying it?
Shadowrocket is available for both iPhone and iPad. On a compatible iPad, sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase and download it again from your App Store purchase history. Refer to the App Store page for system requirements and purchase eligibility. Check separately whether your configuration is still available.
Can I install Shadowrocket on Mac, Apple TV, or Apple Vision?
The compatibility section on the same App Store product page lists Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. Check availability in the App Store on the device you want to use. Refer to the App Store page for system requirements, compatibility with other devices, and whether the purchase is universal.
The official screenshots are in English. How do I follow along after installing the app?
This page shows official English screenshots from the App Store. Find the corresponding screens by their original labels, such as Home, Global Routing, Add Server, and Connectivity Test, then compare them with the explanations in this manual. Check the app and store page for the current language options and settings.
